This weekend is a relaxed ”Do as much or as little as you want” weekend. I have recommended a suitable friendly hotel with everything we need, which will make a good base for non-campers and is the venue for our Friday evening meal.  We explore Warwickshire on Saturday and have a BBQ on our field in Hatton Country World in the evening. This is a DIY affair and you need to bring all food and drink with you, and be prepared to cook it! Sunday is a day at Hatton Country world including a few daft driving tests in the cars if you feel so inclined. Depart and head for home whenever you wish, equally, stay on longer if you like…..

There is no charge to visit Hatton Shopping Village, just the Adventure Worldand Farm.

The shopping village has a garden centre and lots of crafty-gifty-type shops, plus a few select boutiques. There is a café for basic hot and cold food(sandwiches, tea, coffee, baked potatoes, etc.), along with a couple of coffee bars.

Discounted admission is available into Hatton Adventure World upon proof of club membership at Admissions.

Accommodation

There is camping on site at Hatton for campervans, Motorhomes and tents. The cost is £12 per unit per night.

Hotels – The main hotel for the weekend (for the non-campers) is the Warwickshire Park Hotel, Meer End Rd, Honiley, CV8 1NP (4.5 miles from Hatton Country World).

The Warwickshire Park Hotel is where we will be eating on Friday evening – the hotel will lay on an Italian-themed buffet, in a private room, with 4 different pizza’s being the core of the main course. The cost for this meal is £21 per person.

I have block-booked some double and twin rooms which cost £75 for Friday, £82 for Saturday and £62 for Sunday (if you want to stay on longer) – prices are all for double occupancy B&B.

There is plenty of off-road parking around the hotel for our cars.

Friday 21st July

Travel to Hatton Country World, Dark Lane, Hatton, Warwickshire, CV35 8XA, for initial meet up and then settle/check in to your chosen accommodation. Those staying on site in motorhomes can locate their pitch and set up camp (at time or writing we had no tents!)

The recommended hotel is the Warwickshire Park Hotel where a block of double and twin rooms has been reserved for us. This is where we will be eating on Friday evening.

7pm – Italian-themed Evening meal together at Warwickshire Park Hotel in a private room.

Saturday 22nd July

Breakfast at your chosen accommodation.

10am – meet on our field at Hatton Country World to collect drive out route maps and list of places of interest to visit. This day is yours to spend as you wish driving, walking, visiting, eating, drinking – whatever takes your fancy.

10:30am to 5pm – Drive out and visit local places of interest including arranging your own refreshments en route.

7pm – Reconvene in the field at Hatton Country World for our evening BBQ.

Note! – You must bring all your own food and drink with you. We will provide: two BBQ’s and utensils – one set for meat and one for veg for you to cook your own food. I apologise for this earthy approach, especially those of you who are used to being waited on hand and foot! Plastic glasses for beer and wine, plastic cutlery, serviettes, chairs and bins will also be provided.

Sunday 23rd July

Breakfast at your chosen accommodation

10am – meet on our field at Hatton Country World for car gymkhana games. Low speed fun driving tests with incredible prizes.

Noon onwards – DIY lunch and explore Hatton Country World (several places to eat here with hot and cold food). Disperse and head off home when you wish.
