The Fiat 500 News, the club magazine is a bi-monthly, all colour A5 publication, usually containing 32 pages, which is posted out to all members worldwide. The first issue each year being in February.
The magazine has an Editor and a Features Editor who compile the content for each issue.
The Chairman’s Chatter is a regular feature on page 1 where the Chairman reports on club news since the last issue. Updates about his own Fiat 500’s are also a popular topic.
New members are listed by membership number, name, location and car details.
Club Officials and Area Organisers are listed with their contact club email addresses, along with the P.O. Box details which is used for any postal correspondence with the club.
Club Shop
There is a club shop advert in each magazine highlighting Fiat 500 related items which are available to order. Fiat 500 memorabilia ranging from mugs, notepads, key rings, stickers and much more. Fiat 500 apparel including polo shirts, sweatshirts, caps etc are also available.
Events
Future events are listed with the details for booking and the contact information of each organiser.
Content regularly includes show, event and tour reports along with photos, car restoration and technical articles. Additional topical articles are provided by the Features Editor.
The magazine receives income from trade advertisements including insurance companies, Fiat 500 part specialists etc. Members can also place an advert in the Marketplace, free of charge but a charge is made for non-members.
The Editor relies on receiving articles, photos and content from members, without these there would not be a magazine!!
