AGM & Winter Lunch

This is an exciting variation from our normal AGM & lunch because we have hired the prestigious Silverstone Circuit Hospitality Suite. This was made possible by our President, Steve Rider (who got us a good discount!) and he will be attending, so we have our own TV celebrity with us on this auspicious occasion. This is a major financial commitment by the club and so we ask that as many of you as possible make the effort to attend to justify a similar outlay in future years.

Club members who have booked their attendance are encouraged to arrive at Silverstone from 10am onwards to allow for registration at reception in the Silverstone hospitality building and to give you time to buy tea, coffee, breakfast and snacks prior to the meeting (Café opens at 10am). At registration, you will be ticked off on the list of members who have booked and given a wristband. The wristband will afford you access to the AGM, which be held in the hospitality suite upstairs at 11am, and to the Museum afterwards.

Note – You must book if you want to attend the AGM and have free access to the museum. Please do not just turn up on the day.

The AGM will start at 11am and will be followed by our Annual Winter Lunch. The AGM agenda includes an overview of the last year and the election of the committee for the coming year. My aim is to keep it as brief as possible so we can get on to the important business of lunch and visiting the museum! (As AGM attendees, you will have free access to the acclaimed Interactive Silverstone Museum – normally £25 per person.)

New Committee Nominations – Any club member is eligible to run for office in any of the committee positions, or propose another member for the same. If you would like to do this, please contact Colin Smith (chairman@fiat500club.org.uk) for a nomination form. This form must be completed and signed by the proposer, seconder and nominee, and all three must be current members on 27^th November 2022. Completed forms must be with Colin Smith by midnight on 13/11/2022.

This year we have 2 vacant positions to fill due to the current incumbents standing down. These are:

• Club Secretary
• Club Shop Manager

In the event there is more than one nominee for any position the members present will vote to elect their preferred candidate onto the committee.

The new committee will be elected and begin their roles immediately for the coming club year.

The Winter Lunch is optional, and we are currently working on menus and costs, which will be announced nearer the event. If you want to attend the AGM and museum only, you can do this free of charge, i.e. you only pay for your lunch if you want it.

This event is a significant cost to the club so your attendance would be very much appreciated, and you will get a good day out at Silverstone in the company of our President, Mr Steve Rider to boot! Please support us and come along so we can consider prestigious venues like this again in the future.
