Northern European Tour and 35th Anniversary Dutch Fiat 500 Club Event.

It was an amazing tour taking in five countries. We travelled 2,000
miles in total from home and back again. Our little cars did us proud
with only a few minor hiccups which were soon sorted.
There were many highlights during the tour from the wonderful Copenhagen in Denmark to the pretty fishing villages in Sweden, Brantevik being one I think we all would have liked to have stayed at longer.

The seaside town of Kolobrzeg in Poland with its beautiful promenade, beach, pier and harbour was another unforgettable place. A visit to the largest car plant in the world VW’s ” Autostadt ” in Wolfsburg, Germany was an unbelievable experience that one finds hard to describe, even all the ladies in the party who thought they would prefer shopping  didn’t leave the site until late evening when the day ended with the most magnificent fountains, fireworks and laser display.

The tour ended with a long weekend in Holland to join in the celebrations of the 35th Anniversary event of the Dutch Fiat 500 Club.

Party time

If you love classic Fiat 500’s this was the place to be. 350 cars of all variations  were on display, it was a fantastic sight. It was a packed weekend with  drive outs to spectacular venues. New members Ling, Bill and his mother, Betty who were on their first event were able to translate the Dutch drive out routes and evening menus for us, as Betty had lived in Holland for a number of years. In total we were away for 19 fun filled, memorable days for which we have to thank Paul for his meticulous planning and Christine for being the Leader of the pack.
